Drunken Lemon Orzo

I am all about easy, cost effective recipes and this one certainly is just that. Orzo pasta, lemon, white wine and scallions. You can’t get much simpler when it comes to making a side dish.

2 cups water
1 cup white wine
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp salt
Zest of one lemon
Juice from 1/2 same lemon
Pinch of paprika
1 1/2 cups orzo pasta
2 tbsp butter
2 scallions finely chopped
1 cup white wine

1 1/2 cups orzo pasta
2 tbsp butter
2 scallions finely chopped
Place a medium sized sauce pan over high heat and add the water, white wine, olive oil, salt, lemon zest, lemon juice, and paprika.
Once the mixture has come to a boil, add the orzo and stir.
