This is an awesome side dish for even those who aren't fond of peas. It is so sweet and creamy and takes very little time or effort to make.

16 oz frozen peas
4 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 cup low fat or skim milk
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt

Cook peas iin boiling water for 8-10 minutes, then drain. Using the same saucepan, melt the butter then stir in the flour and mix well. Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly until thickens. Stir in sugar and salt, then add peas. Enjoy.
