Easy Mexican Layer Dip

One thing that practically everyone always enjoys is a good Mexican layer dip. It’s so simple to make, yet it’s usually the first empty serving dish at every party. This past weekend we had some friends over and I threw together this quick, delicious dip in less than 30 minutes and it was gone in a flash!

1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
1/2 to 3/4 can refried beans
4 -6 oz. sour cream
1 packet taco seasoning mix
1/4 cup water
1 can diced tomatoes, drained {I use Rotel}
1 small can diced jalepeno peppers {optional}
4 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
1 small can sliced black olives
1-2 green onions {scallions}, chopped

1 fl. oz. Carpano Antica Formula Vermouth
