Emmentaler Cheese Fondue

1 lb. Emmentaler cheese, shredded
1 lb. Gruyere cheese, shredded
1 ½ T. cornstarch
1 ? c. white wine
1 clove garlic, minced
Crusty french bread and cubed apples for dipping
Mix the cheeses in a gallon size bag and add cornstarch; shake to coat. In a pot over medium heat; warm the wine and garlic. Slowly add cheese, stirring until thick and creamy. Transfer to a fondue pot and keep warm. Serve with bread and apples.
