4 Tbsp butter, divided
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
2 Tbsp shallots, diced
3 Tbsp flour
1/4 cup dry sherry
1 3/4 cup chicken stock
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 8 oz filet mignon steaks, cooked to liking
1 pound penne pasta, cooked
