Fluffy Chocolate Eclair Dessert

Simply put.....this dessert is amazing! If you like cream puffs and hate the thought of that whole process, you have got to try this recipe! Have I mentioned....it's amazing?!!

1 cup water
1 stick margarine
1 cup flour
4 eggs
1 - 8 oz. carton Cool Whip
1 lg box instant vanilla pudding
5 ounces softened cream cheese
Chocolate syrup
Boil water and margarine together. Add flour and blend well. Let cool. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well. Spread into ungreased jelly roll pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes or until lightly browned. The crust will resemble the surface of the moon with an uneven surface. While the crust is cooling, prepare the pudding as directed on the back of the box. Add softened cream cheese and beat well. Spread on top of the cream puff base. Cover with cool whip and drizzle with chocolate syrup. Cool for several hours before serving.
