These chewy and chocolate covered Football Cookie Bars are a fun treat to share at game day parties or sports themed birthday parties.

For the Bars
2/3 cup butter ( softened )
2 cups brown sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 3/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
For the Topping
3/4 cup chocolate chips
3 Tablespoons heavy cream
1/4 white chocolate melts
