Fresh Peach Dumpling Roll-Ups Recipe

A while ago, Elyse shared a recipe for Bite-Sized Apple Pies and I was thinking that I could easily make it with these peaches. I didn't have pie crust, but I had some crescents in my fridge. I love warm peaches in the middle of buttery sweet dough and the crescents were perfect for that! You can eat these hot out of the oven or let them cool a little bit- either way, I highly recommend serving them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

1 (8 count, 8 oz) roll refrigerated crescent rolls
2 large peaches
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
cinnamon and sugar
