Fried Mozzarella Sticks

This is a recipe of my Aunt Lana’s. We LOVE this recipe!! Who would have thought that mozzarella sticks could have so much flavor! These are DELICIOUS and a lot easier than they seem. Thanks Aunt Lana!

1 Lb. mozzarella cheese, cut into strips (or string cheese cut in half)
3 eggs, well beaten (with about 2 Tbsp water)
1 c. flour
1/4 c. cornstarch
1 c. Italian bread crumbs
1 tsp. garlic salt

Marinated Taro Root

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
