I breaded and fried heart-shaped ravioli (from Olivieri) and served them with warm Marinara sauce. These crisp bites are cheesy and delicious, and they reheat well too. The kids can even help out by dunking the ravioli pieces in the buttermilk, and sprinkling the cheese on top at the end.

grapeseed oil, for frying
2 packages Olivieri® Hearts Cheese Ravioli
1 cup Panko (Japanese style bread crumbs)
1 cup Italian style bread crumbs
1 tsp dried Oregano
pinch of salt
freshly ground pepper, to taste
1 cup buttermilk
Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
Dried parsley (optional)
