This is by far my favorite sushi roll. It is a combination of a few different rolls from different restaurants. It has all my favorite stuff: cream cheese, avocado, shrimp.. and the best part is… it’s FRIED. Another great thing about it is that it doesn’t contain any raw seafood so I am not afraid to make it at home (I will only eat raw fish if I am at a trusted restaurant, I don’t dare to prepare it myself). Oh, and probably the BEST thing about this is.. you can make about 10 of these for the
Sushi Rice ( click HERE )
Nori (dry roasted seaweed), 1 sheet
2-3 pieces shrimp tempura ( prepared, I bought mine frozen from the store and baked them )
2 slices avocado
3-4 tsp (or so) cream cheese (use the block cream cheese and cut into a couple long, rectangular slices)
½ c. flour
tempura batter
oil for frying
*Spicy mayo (see recipe below)

Lay the bamboo sushi rolling mat on a cutting board with bamboo strips going horizontally from you.

These Apple Fritter Doughnuts are crisp on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside and enrobed in a thick, vanilla bean glaze. They’re made with apple cider and are packed with chopped apples giving them a delicious, fresh apple flavor.
2¼ tsp ( or one envelope of active dry yeast )

Fried Ravioli are the perfect appetizer for any party. So delicious and perfectly paired with a marinara dipping sauce!
1/2 c Panko bread crumbs

7 Hebrew National All Beef Hot Dogs
1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
7 Tbls all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper ( optional )
1/2 cup milk
1 egg ( lightly beaten )
1 Tbls honey
vegetable oil for deep frying
wooden sticks
1/2 cup yellow cornmeal

One of my favorite desserts in Disneyland is the Churro Funnel Cake from the Hungry Bear Restaurant. I’ve recreated it at home the best I can to tide me over until the next time I get to the park. This Churro Funnel Cake is a homemade funnel cake, topped with cinnamon and sugar, caramel and whipped cream. It tastes even better than it sounds!
1 cup water
2½ Tablespoons white sugar

While we were in Hawaii, we ate some of the most AMAZING foods! One of our favorite places was this little Mexican restaurant that served churro fries as a dessert – they were the tastiest fries I think I’ve ever had! I immediately got to work recreating them when I got home, and they turned out pretty darn good.
