Frozen Buckeye Bars

My family and I DESPISE the Buckeyes – as in Ohio State. GO BLUE!! But the sweet balls of peanut butter and chocolate buckeyes, we love! My first memory of buckeyes is my Great Aunt Winnie’s buckeyes. But making her recipe for the balls of sweetness takes so much time. Yesterday I was looking on my facebook, and a friend from back home in the ‘burgh (Kelly) posted a pic and recipe of a sheet cake she makes, so I decided to try it today. And guess what, it is super easy and delicious!!!

1 ½ Cups of Peanut Butter

1 Cup softened butter

½ tbs vanilla

6 Cups of powdered sugar

1 bag of Nestle Semi Sweet Chocolate morsels (or 2-3 Baker’s Chocolate bar)
Cover large cookie sheet with parchment paper or wax paper. Spread and press dough flat and even. Place in Freezer for about an hour. Then melt chocolate and spread on top. Refreeze for about another hour....
