A perfect breakfast or summer treat, this Fruit and Spinach Smoothie is a great refreshment!

1/2 banana
2 strawberries
5 peach slices
6 oz of yogurt (I use vanilla or strawberry)
2/3 cup apple juice (or juice of your choice)
1/2 cup fresh spinach
6-8 ice cubes if not using frozen fruit

Stewed Okra and Tomatoes is a classic Southern dish! Flavored with bacon, onion, garlic and cider vinegar, you know these vegetables are bound to be good. 1 small Vidalia onion
2 cloves garlic
2 15.5 oz cans diced tomatoes
1 T sugar
2 t fresh thyme leaves
1 dried bay leaf
