A moist, easy to make chocolate cupcake topped with a fluffy mint buttercream, thin mint cookie crumbs and half of a thin mint cookie.

Cupcakes
¾ cup (108 grams) all-purpose flour
¼ cup (19 grams) cocoa powder (I usually measure then sift)
¼ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
? cup (165 grams) granulated sugar
1 large egg
½ teaspoon mint extract
¼ cup canola oil
½ cup milk

Mint Buttercream
? cup unsalted butter, soft
4 cups (500 grams) confectioners\' sugar
¼ cup milk
1 teaspoon mint
green food coloring
thin mint cookies-some crumbs and 12 halves
