Greek Yogurt Fruit Dip
217
Fresh fruits are a perfect, healthy snack, but sometimes it's nice to add a little extra sweetness to them with some yummy fruit dip! Some fruit dips can really add on a lot of extra sugar and calories though. This dip is made with Greek yogurt and just a small amount of whipped cream, so you can feel like you're indulging in an extra sweet treat but it's a healthier option than your usual cream cheese based fruit dips!
8
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 package Oikos Vanilla nonfat Greek yogurt (5.3 oz.)
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 package Oikos Vanilla nonfat Greek yogurt (5.3 oz.)
In a small bowl, whip the heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract till thick and fluffy and soft peaks form. (The consistency of whipped cream - that's what it is!) Gently fold in the greek yogurt till well mixed.
For honey vanilla dip, stir 1 tablespoon of honey into the yogurt before folding it in to the whipped cream.
Yields approximately 1 cup of dip.
Serve with an assortment of your favorite fresh fruits.
