We had Hawaiian Haystacks all the time growing up! The best part of this recipe? They are SO easy, quick, and versatile! When things are super crazy, this is a meal you can throw together in minutes (and you probably have all the ingredients in your pantry right now!). It is one of those recipes that can help you clean out everything you have in your crisper drawer. 4 cups rice ( cooked )
2-3 chicken breasts ( cooked and diced )
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/4 cup milk
Additional Toppings:
2 tomatoes ( diced )
6 ounces canned black olives, sliced
5 ounces chow mein noodles
20 ounces pineapple tidbits
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese ( grated )
1 green pepper ( diced )
3/4 cup coconut ( shredded )
2-3 chicken breasts ( cooked and diced )
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/4 cup milk
Additional Toppings:
2 tomatoes ( diced )
6 ounces canned black olives, sliced
5 ounces chow mein noodles
20 ounces pineapple tidbits
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese ( grated )
1 green pepper ( diced )
3/4 cup coconut ( shredded )
Mix cream of chicken soup and milk in a sauce pan until smooth. Add diced chicken and simmer for 5 minutes. Serve hot over rice, and top with your favorite toppings!
