Homemade Cream of Chicken Soup

I use several cans of cream of _____ soups during the month in my cooking recipes. Those cans can get expensive to buy and are are unhealthy. I decided I would try my hand at making my own! After looking at the ingredients of countless recipes for this, I found one that seemed the most healthy and easy to make. There are some dry mixes and liquid mixes. I decided to use a dry mix because it’s easier to store and will last longer.

1 cup non-fat dried milk (powdered milk)
3/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup bouillon cubes or powder (chicken, beef, veggie, etc.)
4 Tbls freeze dried onions (I bought from Sam’s)
1 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. dried thyme/parsley
1 tsp. pepper

1 fl. oz. Carpano Antica Formula Vermouth
