Light, refreshing citrus drinks have been one of the only things that sound tasty to me during this first trimester (as evidenced by this Pinterest board). Maybe I’m a bit dehydrated or quite possibly, I am just desperate for long summer days, sippin’ something lovely out of a straw in our front yard while my daughter splashes around in her kiddie pool & my husband grills us something marvelous for dinner. Either way, I’m all about the lightly sweet, flavorful drinks right now.

6 & 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice (from about 4-6 lemons)
1/2 cup honey
2 tbsp dried lavender
