This sturdier version of homemade whipped cream can be used more like a frosting and is perfect for topping a pie, cake, or a jello salad and is a great homemade alternative to Cool Whip.

8 oz Heavy Whipping Cream
1/4 cup Powdered Sugar
Splash of Vanilla Extract
1/4 cup Cold Water
1 teaspoon Unflavored Gelatin
Before you begin, be sure to chill the mixing bowl and the beaters from your electric mixer by putting them in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes. Your heavy whipping cream should also be chilled....
