INDIAN TOMATO GARLIC CHUTNEY by Neharika

Tomato garlic chutney is mostly used with south indian food. It is yet another varient of garlic chutney and it significantly increases the flavour of food.

2 whole garlic (medim size)
2 chopped tomatoes
¼ tsp. ginger paste
4 dry red chillies
1 tsp. cumin seeds (jeera)
1 and ½ tsp. oil
Salt to taste
Take out garlic flakes and take their cover out. Fry tomaoes in a pan and let it cool. For the chutney, grind the chillies along with the water, garlic, salt, tomatoes and jeera. Heat 1 tbsp oil and add ginger paste and the tomato– garlic paste. Cook for 2 minutes on low heat or till oil separates. Add 2 tbsp water and take a boil. Tomato garlic chutney is ready.
