Lemon Garlic Brussel Sprouts

496 I'm turning 30 next week and I had never eaten a brussel sprout. True story. So, this recipe was my first time both making and eating them. I am now a fan. I made them for Easter dinner and they made a great side dish. I like lemon and garlic on lots of things (see lemon garlic green beans). I don't know what the big deal is about "eat your brussel sprouts", like they're so terrible. Maybe more people need to follow this recipe. Next maybe I'll try lima beans.

2 lbs brussel sprouts
4 Tablespoons olive oil
1 Tablespoon minced garlic
1 lemon, juiced and zested
handful of cheese (I used an asiago, parmesan & romano blend)
seasoned salt
freshly ground black pepper
lemon pepper
