Making an infused vodka has ALWAYS been in my head. I have been drinking Vanilla infused Vodka since the 90?s (that doesn’t make me old does it?). I love the extra flavor that you get from having a flavored liquor. YUM. Bevin made me realize that it’s not that hard to infuse your OWN flavor into a liquor and so once I saw her Tequila I was in! Part 2 is that for my birthday last year I got so many gifts of lemon heads (a sick obsession of mine) that I had been planning on making Lemon Head

2 C of vodka
1/4 C of Lemon Heads
zest of 1-2 lemons (mine was large so I just used one)

Put vodka into a mason jar or a jar that closes tightly Drop in Lemon Heads Zest lemon into jar Let sit for at least 3 days (mine sat for 1 week) Shake it up and then strain through a fine strainer ENJOY!
