Better than store bought and truly light and fluffy, these pancakes make a wonderful breakfast treat.

Dry ingredients
1 ½ cup plain flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Wet ingredients
3 tablespoons (60g) butter melted (see notes)
300 ml milk
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla

Marinated Taro Root

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
