Lil Smokies with Tangy Chili Sauce

This is seriously one of the easiest recipes I have ever made. I saw it on TV somewhere, but I don't remember exactly where. I just remember thinking to myself "That is super easy...I've got to try that!"The greatest part is that there are only 3 ingredients and It only takes 5 minutes of prep time. Then you leave the crock pot to do it's magic. This will make a great appetizer for any party or get together.

1 14 oz. Can cranberry sauce
1 12 oz. bottle Heinz Chili Sauce
1 16 oz. package of Little Smokies
Mix Chili and cranberry sauce with a whisk in a crock pot. Add little smokies and cook on low setting for 2 hours. Serve with toothpicks

Marinated Taro Root

2001

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
