Mom's Baked Beans Recipe

Almost every BBQ we have together my Mom makes her baked beans. They are absolutely amazing! If you need a summer side dish… this is one of my very favorites!!!

3 Cans of Pork and Beans, drained

3 Tablespoons of molasses

1/2 onion chopped

1/4 cup brown sugar

Mix Together

8 pieces of raw bacon

Marinated Taro Root

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
