For Mulled Apple Shrub:
2 cups vinegar
1 whole star anise
1 tablespoon whole allspice
3 inch piece of cinnamon
1 inch piece of dried ginger
1 cup sugar
1 whole apple, shredded
For Mule:
2 ounces bourbon
1 ounce mulled apple shrub
1/2 ounce limoncello
3 to 4 ounces ginger beer
