It is a very simple and tasty dish. You can try this dish with Poor i/Chapati as a lunch or also with fried beaten rice as a snack.

Baby potato 1/2 kg
Black Cumin seeds 1 tablespoon
Turmeric 1 tablespoon
Red chilli powder 1 tablespoon
Ginger Garlic paste 1 tablespoon
Coriander powder 1/2 tablespoon
Cumin powder 1/2 tablespoon

1. Add the baby potatoes in a pressure cooker. Make sure that all the potatoes are completely submerged in water. The water level should not be more than 75% of cooker depth. 2. Cover the lid of the cooker and keep it in high flame. After 2 whistles on high flame switch OFF the stove. Let the steam go OFF on its own. 3. Once the steam has vanished, check whether potatoes are boiled properly.Pork the knife in one of the potatoes, if it goes in easily, it means your job is done else they might need some more time on stove. 4. Peel the skin and cut them in four pieces and keep aside. 5. Mix turmeric powder, red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, cumin powder and coriander power to water in a bowl. 6. Heat up 2 tablespoon oil, add black cumin seeds and let it fry for 1 min. 7. Add the above mixture i.e pt no. 5 and cook it for 5-6 mins in low flame. 8. Add enough water to the mixture to cover the potatoes. 9. Add the cubed baby potatoes and salt, mix, cover and cook over medium heat for 5-10 mins. 10. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
