White cake with a hint of orange zest, then "dunked" into a white chocolate ganache and then topped with orange zest buttercream frosting! Add an orange slice & you've got yourself one of the best desserts around!

For the cake:
1 box Vanilla cake mix
2 eggs
2 egg whites
1/3 cup oil
3/4 cup buttermilk
2/3 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons orange zest
1/2 teaspoon orange extract

White Chocolate Ganache:
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
2-3 tablespoons heavy cream

Orange Buttercream:
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
2 tablespoons orange zest
1/2 teaspoon orange extract
1 tablespoon orange juice

Similar to an elevated mimosa, the Blood and Sand cocktail combines fresh blood orange juice, sweet Vermouth and cherry liqueur to create a unique and refreshing cocktail.

Cocktail Ingredients:
1/4 oz Blended Scotch
1/4 oz Blood Orange juice ( Freshly squeezed. Regular orange juice is an okay substitute. )
1/4 oz Cocchi Sweet Vermouth
1/4 oz Heering Cherry liqueur
1 Blood orange ( Peel or slice for garnish )
