Cookie:
1 cup shortening
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup peanut butter
2 eggs
1 1/2 flour
1 1/2 oatmeal
1 tsp. soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 bag semi sweet chocolate chips
Frosting Topping:
1/2 cup peanut butter
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 cup shortening
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup peanut butter
2 eggs
1 1/2 flour
1 1/2 oatmeal
1 tsp. soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 bag semi sweet chocolate chips
Frosting Topping:
1/2 cup peanut butter
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup milk
Cookie:
1. Cream together shortening, sugars, peanut butter, and eggs.
2. Mix dry ingredients in separate bowl and add to wet ingredients.
3. Mix well and pat into a greased jelly roll pan, ½ inch thick.
4. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.
5. While still hot, sprinkle with chocolate chips. Allow to melt and spread.
6. Drizzle on the peanut butter frosting topping.
Frosting:
1. Combine ingredients (1/2 cup peanut butter, 3/4 cup powdered sugar, 1/2 cup milk) and bring to a boil in pan on stove.
2. Boil 1 min.
3. Drizzle over chocolate chips.
