Peppermint Crunch Brownie Cookies Recipe

I bought a bag of Andes Peppermint Crunch bits and have been trying to find a fun recipe to use them in . . . I decided to try them on top of these peppermint brownie cookies and the combination of the two was awesome. I frosted them with a simple vanilla frosting, but if you wanted to go crazy, you could add a 1/2 tsp of peppermint extract for extra minty cookies. P.S. These brownie cookies are so yummy- they would be delicious without any frosting on them too!

1 (19.5 oz) package brownie mix (I used Pillsbury Milk Chocolate Brownie mix)
1 1/4 cups flour
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 large eggs
2 Tbsp milk
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 tsp peppermint extract

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
