Peppermint Dream~Ice Cream Dessert

I had this yummy treat at a holiday party we attended, and was so excited to get the recipe!

1 11 oz. box of crushed vanilla waffers
1 stick of butter melted
2/3 cup butter
2 squares Baker’s Chocolate
2 cups powdered sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 gallon peppermint ice cream
First Layer 1 11 oz. box vanilla waffers crushed 1 stick of butter melted Combine to make crust. Use half to put in the bottom of a 9×13 pan and chill. Second Layer Melt 2/3 cup butter with 2 squars of Baker’s sweet chocolate in a sauce pan or microwave bowl. Cool a bit and then add 2 egg yolks, 2 cups powdered sugar, and 1 tsp. vanilla. Stir until mixture gets creamy smooth and a bit lighter in color. Spread over crumb crust, then freeze. Third Layer Put softened peppermint ice cream on top of chocolate layer and smooth out any lumps. Sprinkle the rest of crumb to pping on top and freeze.
