The standard recipe for pizzelles, but still oh so yummy!

6 eggs
3 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. anise flavoring
1 c. butter, melted and cooled
Using a hand mixer, beat eggs in large bowl, gradually adding sugar. Add butter and anise flavoring. In a separate bowl, mix flour and baking powder. Add the flour mixture, beating to combine. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto preheated pizzelle iron.
