Prosciutto Wrapped Mozzarella with Basil – An easy and elegant appetizer you can assemble in under 5 minutes! Perfect on top of bread or tomato slices and a great addition to antipasto platters.

5 slices (2½ ounces) prosciutto
5 round (1/4 inch thick) slices mozzarella cheese
¼ ounce basil leaves
¼ cup balsamic glaze, store bought or homemade (see notes)

Lay the prosciutto slices flat and place a mozzarella slice on the top third of each slice. Fold the tops and sides of the prosciutto over the mozzarella slices to fully encase them.
