A quick & easy side dish that will compliment any meal!

1 lb. asparagus, washed
1 c. water
1 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese, plus more for garnish
Remove the bottom 1 - 1/2 inches from the bottom of your asparagus & discard. Place spears in a pan wide enough to hold them without bending (you can layer if you need to). Add water and place on high heat....
