1 1/2 water bread (French bread)
8 cups milk
1/4 pound butter, melted
2 1/2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 cup raisins
Mix bread in tiny pieces and milk in a large bowl. Stir until bread is well wet. Add butter, sugar, eggs, salt, vanilla and raisins. Put the mixture into a greased mold. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 375 degrees...
