Have your root beer float in cupcake form! These extra moist vanilla cupcakes are topped with root beer frosting and drizzled with sweet root beer caramel.

1½ cups cake flour
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup white granulated sugar
1¼ tsp baking powder
2 eggs, room temperature
½ cup milk
¼ tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla paste
For the frosting
¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
1 Tbs milk
1 tsp root beer concentrate
For the caramel drizzle
½ cup packed light brown sugar
¼ cup half and half
2 Tbs unsalted butter
1 tsp root beer concentrate
