Russian Salad

Appetizer with Russian salad.

1 kg potatoes
450ml mayonnaise
500g carrots
450 g green peas
400 g pickled cucumbers
200 g ham
3 pcs. eggs
2 tsp mustard
1. Cook potatoes and peel hot. Leave to cool 2. Separately boil the carrots and eggs and also allowed to cool 3. potatoes, carrots, eggs, pickles and ham, cut into small cubes and mix 4. To this was added drained canned or cooked peas 5. salad mix with mayonnaise and mustard 6. Optionally, you can add lemon juice. Prepared salads need to rest in the fridge for at least 2-3 hours.

Marinated Taro Root

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
