When my sisters and I go and do presentations or teach demos at various things, someone always asks us what our one kitchen item is that we can’t live without and I always say my slow cooker. ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
2 lbs skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
2 tablespoons butter
1 (15 oz) can chicken broth (or chicken stock)
6 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
4 cloves garlic, minced
zest of one lemon
