Slow Cooker Glazed Cinnamon Apples

I love serving these gooey, yummy apples with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and Nilla Wafer crumbles. And of course some extra nutmeg and cinnamon sprinkled on top doesn’t hurt. Ahh … definitely at the top of the comfort food ranks. And don’t forget to top your ice cream with some of the warm, scrumptious sauce left at the bottom of your slow cooker!

6 large Granny Smith apples (cored and cut into eight wedges — I keep the peels on, but you don't have to)
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
6 tbsp. butter, melted
Vanilla ice cream
Crumbled oatmeal, ginger snaps or vanilla wafers (optional)
1 Reynold's® Slow Cooker liner (optional)
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
