Slow Cooker Indian Butter Chicken

If you like Chicken Tikka Masala, you'll love the Easy Indian Butter Chicken. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, you've got to give Indian food a try. It's phenomenal!

2 c. butter, divided
1 onion, minced
3 tbsp. minced garlic
3 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
6 c. heavy cream
4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 tsp. garam masala
3 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
4 tsp. paprika
3 tsp. cumin
3 tsp. turmeric
3 tsp. curry powder
Combine all ingredients together into a crock pot. Cook on low 6 hours. Transfer to a serving platter, serve with basmati rice, garnish with fresh cilantro and enjoy!

Marinated Taro Root

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
