A warm pumpkin cake with pecans, great served warm with ice cream!

1 (15.25-oz) box yellow cake mix
1 cup pumpkin puree
3 eggs
½ cup melted butter (1 stick)
? cups water
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. cinnamon
¼ tsp. nutmeg
? tsp. cloves
pinch of salt
½ cup whole pecans
