A vintage recipe converted for the slow cooker. So good over rice.

1 (15-oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1 cup chicken broth
2 tsp. minced garlic
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
1 tsp. dried oregano
½ cup diced white onion
2 cups quartered button mushrooms
1 green bell pepper, diced
1.5 - 2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken thighs
