We love our Smashed Italian Red Potatoes so much that we decided to add a fun twist to them and try using some Baby Yukon Gold Potatoes. These Smashed Cheesy Potatoes have a pop of garlic flavor and topped with cheesy goodness! They turned out so delicious and make the perfect side dish to any dinner!

2 pounds Mini Golden Yukon Potatoes
3 tablespoons butter
ΒΌ teaspoon black pepper
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
3 tablespoons olive oil
salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons chives, chopped (I used dried chives)
1 cup Colby Jack cheese, shredded
