Recipe contributed to our wedding by: Chris Fluke (Scott\\\\\\\'s mom)
66
3-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1. Stir together flour, soda, cream of tartar, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
2. Beat butter for 30 seconds; add the 2 cups sugar and beat until fluffy.
3. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla; beat well.
4. Add dry ingredients to beaten mixture, beating until well combined.
5. Form dough into 1-inch balls; roll in a mixture of the 3 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon.
6. Place balls 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet; flatten slightly with the bottom of a drinking glass.
7. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 8 minutes or until lightly golden (7 minutes for a soft, chewy cookie).
8. Makes about 66 cookies. I halve this recipe and it still comes out great!
