Soft and Chewy Ginger Molasses Cookies are one of my FAVORITE holiday cookies! These are super soft and chewy and I often make them with cinnamon cream cheese frosting on top.

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp ground ginger
3/4 cups butter, room temperature (1 1/2 sticks)
3/4 cups granulated sugar
1 large egg
1/4 cup molasses
Sugar for rolling
