Spiced Apple Crockpot Crumble

This easy recipe is tasty and the kids can help make it

5 medium to large apples, peeled and sliced thinly
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2/3 cup quick cooking or rolled oats
1 cup water
3 tablespoons butter, melted
3/4 brown sugar
Optional Additions
1/3 cup Raisins
1/3 cup walnuts, pecans or sliced almonds
Homemade Whipped Cream:
1 cup whipping cream
2 tablespoons sugar
3/4 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2/3 cup quick cooking or rolled oats
1 cup water
3 tablespoons butter, melted
3/4 brown sugar
Optional Additions
1/3 cup Raisins

Homemade Whipped Cream:
1 cup whipping cream
2 tablespoons sugar
3/4 teaspoon vanilla
Combine sliced apples, granulated sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg in bowl. Stir to coat apples in mixture.
Add oats and optional ingredients to apple mixture and mix.
