Buttery, nutty, jam-filled Strawberry Almond Linzer Cookies are a traditional sandwich cookie filled with a berry jam and finished with plenty of powdered sugar.

1 3/4 sticks butter ( room temperature )
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/4 cup almond flour
1 egg
1/4 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour ( sifted )
1/2 cup strawberry jam
powdered sugar ( for dusting )
