This summer fruits flavoured slushie is the perfect way to beat the heat this summer. Quick and easy to make at home. Your kids (and you) will love them.

1 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tbsp boiling water
260g ice cubes
4 tbsp summer fruits cordial (squash)

In a cup, add the sugar and boiling water and stir continuously until the sugar has completely dissolved. Set aside until it is just luke warm or cooler. (see notes for time-saving method)
