Great Fruit Compote for pancake topping or a crepe filling! Just sweetened with a hint of maple syrup!

1/2 cup strawberries
1/2 cup blueberries together
2 tsp of maple syrup
sprinkle of cinnamon and sprinkle of nutmeg.
2 tbsp of chia seed
2 tsp lemon zest

dice strawberries, and put strawberries and blueberries together in a saucepan, add 2 tsp maple syrup, sprinkle of cinnamon, sprinkle of nutmeg.
Add in 2 tbsp chia seed and let it set. It will become a pudding like mixture. Top with some lemon zest.
