Caramel Apple Cinnamon Rolls are a sweetly satisfying breakfast treat!

For rolls:
4 1/2 tsp OR 2 packages of active dry yeast
1/2 cup warm milk
3 eggs
2 teaspoons + 1/2 c sugar, divided
1 1/2 tsp salt
3-4 cups AP flour
1/2 c unsalted butter ( melted )
Filling:
1/2 c butter ( melted )
3/4 c brown sugar
1/2 c sugar
1 Tbls ground cinnamon
1 1/2 c finely chopped apple ( Granny Smith preferred )
1 Tbls fresh lemon juice
1 cup caramel bits
1 Tbls milk
Caramel Icing:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/3 cups powdered sugar
